Lovely Richard. Thank you. I wish this had been the cartoon that had appeared in the Eagle this morning. It was much more meaningful than the one that was published.
What a lovely way to view such an important milestone in our history. Thank you for your personal touch. You have a way of going right to the heart of an event.

That really is beautiful.
Richard, I miss you...the cartoon with Obama being hugged by his grandmother strikes a perfect "chord" in my heart.
As do all of your cartoons, it communicates on multiple levels. Your soul shines through your work like a beacon, my friend.
Thanks for posting it on your blog. And, for that matter, thanks for the blog. It helps me withstand my withdrawal symptoms.

Richard -- Thanks. For all that you do.
Richard,
You always know how to sum up our feelings in your art. Thank you for all you give us.
